Last week marked 20 years that Stefanie and I have been married. To celebrate, we planned a trip to the coast to see the wild horses on Shackleford Banks and visit the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. The weather didn’t cooperate, and the ferry to Shackleford Banks was cancelled due to high winds. We still got to see some wild horses on Carrot Island from Beaufort’s waterfront, visited the aquarium, and then toured Tryon Palace in New Bern. Here are some pictures from the trip.
