National Taco Day has been widely celebrated on the 4th of October since a Del Taco marketing campaign popularized it in 2009. Then in 2024, Taco Bell petitioned to abandon the traditional date and shift the holiday to better align with the popular Taco Tuesday movement. Now, taco lovers are torn between the orthodox date of October 4th and the reform calendar that places the holiday on the first Tuesday of October. Which side of this schism do you support?
Personally, I just plan to celebrate with tacos on both dates this week.
